Remember this epic failure?!
This weekend the Princess decided it was the right time to get her ears pierced. I reminded her of her bail-out last summer....she quickly informed me, "I was LITTLE last time!".
I still laid odds that she would once again jump out of the chair just before the "shooting". The hubby bet she would do it.
He was right.
Ready, Set.....
GO!
She started to hyperventilate as the guns were placed on her ears and the countdown began..... 1, 2, 3..... *BAM*
There was NO screaming, no nothing. Just that look on her face.
And the happily ever after:
She hopped out of the chair and we continued shopping as though nothing ever happened:
She has six weeks marked on her calendar and now in search of "cute" earrings!

oh how adorable!
Such a milestone in little girl world... I totally remember deciding that I was ready a big girl and getting mine done.
NOW to find cute earrings!
I still remember when I got mine done as a teenager. I thought my heart stopped as soon as they punched it through. UGG! Way to go brave girl!!
Yay Princess! You look pretty!
funny thing is the tummy nose and maybe a tongue one is next mom?..and the question is now " are yOu ready for that mom" ;) lol!
We had the same story for our oldest. Our youngest let her ears close up due to an infection and said she didn't care if she ever wore earrings again. We'll see about that.
That is so cute!! What a big day!
Awww...she's so brave now that she's not little anymore! LOL She's such a cutie!
My girl did the same thing, but she backed out so many times I wouldn't take her again. Her grandma ended up talking her into it and I missed it!
Oh my lands... you tell her that she is braver than me. I *blush* STILL don't have pierced ears.
