If you saw my last post, 12 days ago I became one of six finalists to win a Tempur-Pedic mattress set from Kristen at We Are THAT Family.
I was determined to win this thing. I mean, really, how many
times does one get the opportunity to win a Tempur-Pedic mattress valued
at almost $5000.
From the beginning, until the contest ended, I shamelessly harassed begged
- friends and family on facebook
- Twitter peeps
- co-workers
- neighbors
- college alumnae association members
- commandeered phones of surgeons I work with to help them get in "their" vote (with permission, of course)
Because voting was based on one vote per IP address, I also visited several local wi-fi spots to get a vote in there.
I spent the entire week obsessing over THIS contest. By the end of the contest I was FRaZzLeD.
But, you know what, PERSISTENCE paid off! My people responded, in a BIG way and I love them dearly for it.
