‘Fro Me to You— That’s ShowBiz

image

The Who: Yours truly

The Year: about 1984

The Location: ShowBiz Pizza, bay-bee

The clothes: My favorite kelly green skirt, accompanied by a white polo shirt, accented by a pair of white leather Bass sandals, accessorized with one set of pinwheel deely-boppers and a helium balloon.

Nice, huh? I realize so many of you will be jealous of my good looks and fashion sense during my high school years. I cannot even address my ladylike pose.

What can I say other than that was Sincerely ‘Fro Me to You!

This photo has obviously never been in ANY scrapbook, but it did find a home on facebook.

It's nice to see a picture of a highschooler who wasn't "too cool" to still have fun!

I bet you were SO much fun! We would have had a ball. I had a BABY brother so yes, I remember Showbiz well.

(did you suck the helium out of the balloon?)

You have the best pics. I did notice on this one, though, that your legs appear to have a five o'clock shadow. But I know it's just the grainy photography. Still, what an optical illusion!

That's hilarious!!!! And good for you for posting it!
I just found your blog via someone else - the name got my attention because I also live in Alabama (Birmingham, to be exact) and love my Greek Heritage. Can't wait to read more!!
