I honor of the summer heat and the overwhelming desire NOT to turn on the oven, I am going to share with you a delicious summer recipe that only involves cooking the pasta.
I found this recipe at the Kraft food web site, which I visit regularly for quick and simple recipes.
3 cups bow-tie pasta, uncooked
2 cups baby spinach leaves
1 cup KRAFT Natural Mediterranean Style Cheese Crumbles
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
3/4 cup drained canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed
1/2 cup KRAFT Greek Vinaigrette Dressing
COOK pasta as directed on package; drain. Place in large bowl.
ADD remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
SERVE immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve
My own, more Greek, rendition of this recipe includes using only Feta cheese and adding kalamata olives. Enjoy!

That looks so yummy!! My mom is always talking about the little Kraft cookbook. I wonder if the website is the same?
YUM! I am a vegetarian so most of my diet consist of this. I love grrek/Mediterannian food.
Thanks for the recipe. I'll have to try it. It looks so good!
YUMMY! It's so hot here that a nice cold pasta salad would hit the spot :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving comments. I get so excited when someone knew stops by.
The pasta salad sounds great. My husband is Greek so we would have to add the feta and the olives to ours!!
I was so happy that you visited my blog and and left that suggestion! It sounds yummy and easy, a great combo.
Thanks for stopping by! Greek grits...now there's a thought! ;)
We had Greek salad last night for dinner. Being Southerner's, that makes us family, right?
I'll have to show this to my hubby. He is the cook around here and he loves to try new things.

Hi, Jennifer told me I should come over & see your post about the Bright Star, since I just posted about it myself. I'm in B'ham too & wanted to say hello! Very nice to meet you. I'm a native of GA, but have been in AL for 2 1/2 years & that was my first visit to TBS...won't be my last!
Love your blog name...too cute.
Come and see me sometime,
Rhoda
