I can testify this week’s photo has never made it into the pages of any scrapbook. This week I’ve decided to roll all of my siblings under the ‘Fro Me to You Bus. Sorry y’all, you knew it would happen.
This photo is circa 1978 when we lived in Irondale, Alabama.
I’m not sure what the first thing YOU notice is, but I notice my brother’s fly wide open, which appears intentional on his part. I mean were these pants made like this, were they ripped, was if for convenience?? I guess we'll never know.
There seems to be an awful lot of plaid going on in the photo. And if you are a faithful fan of me and this meme, you will remember my plaid post! I'm sure I had some cute little plaid number on under that awful itchy, fluffy-around-the-neck coat. How I hated that coat.
You will also notice my little sister’s missing front teeth. Those came out early in life, I believe from some sort of tricycle accident.
There seems to be a knee sock theme also. And it appears as though, I *might* be wearing some sort of geriatric shoe?! Go ahead, take a peek down there between my brother and sister. Yep, you see 'em, did SAS make shoes back in 1978? I guess so.
Now head on over to Kristen's for more Thursday 'Fro fun. If you haven't joined in the fun, you should.

Oh, my... I could totally picture all of my Husband's childhood photos as I looked at yours. Just know that you were not alone in the plethora of plaid.
Cute- I wish kids wore modest clothes like that now- Instead of trying to look like a bunch of hookers and gangstas!
The bunch was very cute and all dolled up! The fly, well I would go with he needed the breeze considering the clothing was probably hot and scratchy! : )
(I grew up in Irondale!!)
Great pic! Just last night as I was going through my pictures to join in 'Fro Me to You - I saw at least 2 pictures of me wearing plaid as a young child!
Hmm... I didn't notice your brother's pants til you pointed them out ...
Thanks for visiting my blog. I think the top on he-Jerry looks like the kind of halter tops my aunt used to dress her girls in!
Painful memories of plaid coming back!!! MUST. . . REPRESS!!!!
Yes, I remember the party in plaid post!! Y'all are cute! And your brother? Um, yeah. He has recovered from that, hasn't he...
"DON'T LOOK ETHEL!!!" It was too late...

Too cute. And my, that is a lot of plaid!
Oh my gosh Tammy...you make me laugh out loud. It kinda looks like his pants are made that way?
Love you sister's gold ball socks too.
LOL, too funny :)
That is an AWESOME picture! Oh, how I love me some retro plaid and orthopedic shoes from the 70s.
And, throwing your siblings under the 'Fro Me to You bus earns you extra points! Gotta love it!
Oh this is too cute.... and your little brother he's tugging on his pants!LOL! This really made me laugh, thanks !
You look cute in those coordinating outfits! The open fly is HILARIOUS though!
That totally cracked me up! I love how your brother is holding his pants. Perhaps the open fly was for ventilation?
Gotta take time to read through your posts. So love the Greek Grits! Thanks for your comment on my post. Pass it on! (Rena and I are still new and need to get out there!!!) Oh and... Yep, plaid only rocks during Christmas! Ha!
Y'all were too adorable. And by the way... I love your new plaid shorts!
Priceless pic! Thanks for allowing me to laugh with you.
