The Great Commission

image

Jesus spoke these words to His disciples after the resurrection:

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

Today, my hubby will be leading a team of 38 on a week long medical and evangelical mission trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The team will be providing minor medical care, but more importantly, sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the Brazilian people.

Please lift the mission team up in your prayers as they travel and serve the Lord by following the “Great Commission.”

I am including the link to their travel blog (which pressures the hubby to keep it up). Please bookmark the site and visit throughout the next week. Feel free to share it with your friends.

Comments are more than welcome. Let the team know you are praying for them. I would greatly appreciate it and I KNOW they would too.

My husband and son went on their first mission this last spring to Hondruas, it was a the spiritual boost for both! I'm sure your husband will also benefit in this way! Blessings for a very safe trip!

Oops. PS Just now read the post. Bless your hubby for his Christian service. What a wonderful mission. I have though of doing this in the past. I'm an RN- speciality is Labor & Delivery. I notice you are a CRNA. Do you also particpate in missions at times?

I will definitely keep your husband and his team in my prayers! May God touch the hearts of many through them! I'll also pray for you, you know, that the kids will behave well, etc., so your week without the hubby will be stress free!
