Dear John

By the time you read this, I will be gone.

It’s been a great three years, but it’s time for us to part ways.

You were a great friend for the first couple years.

However, over the last year I have developed less of a love for you.

Every time we met, it just wasn’t right for me anymore.

Our meetings became boring and monotonous.

I felt like we weren’t going anywhere together.

It’s nothing that YOU did, it was all me.

I wish only the best for you as you move on to someone else.

I hope they develop the immediate love for you that I once had.

May their love for you be strong and long lasting.

I only wish you the best.  You know that.

Good-bye old friend.

I can't believe you used the old "it's not you, it's me" line. Do you think that is going to ease all the pain you have caused? Gah!

I love it!
I am just surprised that it lasted 3 years.
My theory is that we all just need to share our exercise equipment - or dvd, etc. we really only use it for about 3 months. So then - pass it on to someone else and let them use it for 3 months while you try another means. And on- and on - and on. LOL
Love it!

John, you can come to my house and sit in my room with my other friend Gym. He came from a friend of mine, Chuck Norris, so you should get along fine. He is getting pretty lonely and need someone to keep him company.

That was cute! I got rid of my "John" years ago...gave him to an already skinny friend who didn't need him but enjoyed him WAY more than me!!!
