The Kid in You

Whilst traipsing about the blog world I came across a photo contest over at 5 Minutes for Mom. The Nestlé Company is looking for a photo that screams "The Kid in You" and captures the "spirit of childhood".

So, I have perused my hundreds thousands of photos and decided on this photo of my 9 year old son, after all nothing screams "KID" more than the splash at the bottom of a water slide!

Click on over to 5 Minutes for Mom to view the other entries or enter your own photo.

You made me laugh so hard at your response to anonymous! For Heavens sake people do get all up in arms about the silliest stuff.

Love your son's waterslide photo. It is perfect and I hope you win.

So nice to meet you!

Great picture! Thanks for stopping by my blog! We went to dinner with Cinderella when we were in Disney. It really was magical. We loved it. Good luck with the contest!

You left a comment on my blog so I am checking out your blog. I saw the 1st photo of your parents wedding and said, "That looks like Cottage Hill's chapel." I was married there. Well, sure enough I scrolled down and there was Brother Fred. I grew up in Mobile and went to Cottage Hill. It is such a small world. I would have been 10. Did you go to CHill? I was trying to figure out how old you look in the photo and see if I recognize you. Couldn't place you.

Love the sign about being short of help.

Hi! I'm finally getting the chance to leave a comment. I've stopped by a few times since you commented on my blog but haven't had the "time" to put fingers to keys and say, well, um, "hi!"

Anyhoo..
I love the water slide picture!
